15 Year-Old Tariq Abu Khdeir Freed After Detained And Allegedly Beaten by Israeli Police [VIDEO]

Tariq Abu Khdeir has been reportedly beaten while he was in the custody of the Israeli police.

The 15 year-old teen from Tampa, Florida has been taken into custody in Jerusalem following a violent attack in Shuafat on Thursday. He has been arrested while he was attending a demonstration following the death of his cousin, Mohammed Abu Khdeir. His 16 year-old cousin has been killed by Jewish extremists who took revenge after the deaths of three Israeli teens who were abducted in the West Bank last month.

Mohammed was abducted last week and his dead body was later found in a Jerusalem forest. Authorities are currently investigating the possible nature of the death while they are trying to identify whether it includes criminal or personal motives. While the details of the investigation are being concealed, it was said that authorities believe that the killing was nationalistic in nature.

According to USA Today, the arrest of Tariq occurred when he was in the protest related to his cousin's death when Israeli soldiers came down and suddenly picked up several people wherein he was one of them. The teen boy has been reportedly injured badly during the clash with police and was sentenced to spend nine days of home detention. The Palestinian-American is attending University Academy of Florida as a high school student.

A speculation saying that Tariq Abu Khdeir has been beaten while in the authority's custody started when he appeared badly bruised with eyes and mouth swollen. With the possible beating that the half American underwent, US government expressed their confusion about the report. The US State Department stated that it is troubled by the reports of the teen's beating and that they demand for an investigation.

In response to the investigation demanded regarding the beaten Tariq Abu Khdeir, Israel's Justice Ministry quickly launched an investigation.
