Robin Thicke Blurred Lines star has a new album, entitled, "Paula." This new album is believed to be dedicated to his wife Paula Patton whom he has not seen in four months. By looking at the titles of the songs that this album covers, "Love can Grow Back" and "Still Madly Crazy", it would certainly seem that Thicke is pining over his estranged spouse.
For the past several months, Robin Thicke Blurred Lines singer has been pleading to his wife to forgive him and come back to him, but, obviously, his efforts did not pay off.
Based on a report from Us Weekly, Thicke, 37 years old, revealed in a morning program that his new album was, indeed, dedicated to his wife. He made this revelation publicly on the Ebro in the top-rated Morning program over at the Hot 97 radio station of New York.
Robin Thicke Blurred Lines singer shared, "I try to keep most of that private, but I haven't seen her for four months. If you've been together that long, you kinda became adults together instead of being adults and then meeting. But, maybe a year or two off, we'll become our own people without each other and then it will be meant to be."
He has explained that "Paula" talks about loss and learning how to accept and deal with the loss. He said, "The album is exactly what happens when you lose the love of your life and you're trying to figure it out in your head."
The Thicke-Patton love team started when they were only teenagers, and they have been together for 20 years now. They decided to get married in 2005 and they now have a 4-year-old son.
Contrary to the viral pictures of Robin Thicke Blurred Lines hit maker partying in clubs with various women, he adamantly said that they did not part ways because he cheated. He explained, "We're apart because we just couldn't be together anymore for a while. I changed and I got a little too selfish, a little too greedy, and little too full of myself."
