Adam Richman diet controversy is up in the air recently. He has coined his dramatic weight loss as a "thinspiration", which angered a lot of netizens.
Thinspiration is a term that is oftentimes used for referring to online posts that encourage eating disorders. Additionally, this term has been banned on various social networking sites, such as Yahoo and Facebook. However, it would seem that the former "Man vs Food" host forgot about the term's significance, as he used it to caption a photograph that he posted on his Instagram account as he showed his weight loss last month.
Moreover, it would seem that Richman does not welcome criticism, since he gave out a profane response to his critics regarding his "thinspiration" post in relation to Adam Richman diet. Instagram users were quick to criticize him, and Richman was very defensive and even went too far as to tell one critic to commit suicide. He called another a c*nt. He was not done with his tirade as he also told another critic to "eat a bag of sh*t."
Richman has already apologized for the rude comments he said about his Adam Richman diet and weight loss efforts, but his apologies were not enough to keep his new show, "Man Finds Food." Travel Channel has just recently announced that "Man Finds Food" has been officially postponed. The show was supposed to make its debut on the 2nd of July. It looks like he will not be seen on Travel Channel for a relatively long time.
Adam Richman first became popular when he was selected to host Travel Channel's "Man vs Food". Because of this show, he got to travel all over the United States so that he could compete in various food-eating contests. After the show ended, he started to live a healthier lifestyle and complied with Adam Richman diet plans.
