Colin Egglesfield will be returning to Chicago this weekend so that he could participate in the ITU World Triathlon, which will occur along the city's lakefront. Egglesfield has always been active in various triathlons and marathons, apart from his hectic schedule with his present TV show, "Rizzoli & Isles". Plus, Egglesfield also has a T-shirt company for supporting the charitable causes that he loves.
This upcoming triathlon will be Colin Egglesfield's third, but he admits that it will be the 1st Olympic distance triathlon that he will be participating in.
Colin Egglesfield is also happy about the reception and attention that his show "Rizzoli & Isles" is currently getting. In fact, the show is already in its 5th season, a mark that not all TV series of today can reach. Egglesfield said, "It amazes me that people recognized me from that particular show. I love my character because he's a lovable screw-up. He's unlike any other character I've played before. There's not many times in this business where you get to run over a priest while you were drunk-driving - then you get out of jail, and you get your father's fiancé pregnant! Then there's the issue of not really knowing who the baby's father is."
Colin Egglesfield is also happy that he gets to work with two amazingly beautiful actresses of his time, namely, Sasha Alexander and Angie Harmon. He also added, "Plus, when your mom is Lorraine Bracco, it's kind of a dream role." It looks like Egglesfield really likes where he lies in his present career as a TV actor.
He also has other surprises for his fans coming up. He has just finished filming an independent film, entitled "The Night Before." His role that he has been assigned to portray has a best friend who gets married, so he throws the most epic bachelor party that he could muster.
Colin Egglesfield also has a guest appearance on another top-rated TV series, "Unforgettable", which will be airing on the 17th of July on CBS. Plus, he shared that he is presently producing a love story during the World War II era.
