Kate Middleton's little sister has finally agreed to an interview. Matt Lauer, co-host of "Today", has scored a sit-down interview with Pippa Middleton herself, but decided to not reveal this little secret of his right away. Still, he gave the public a few hints on who his new interviewee was Wednesday morning. He said, "I flew overnight to interview someone who's gotten an awful lot of attention over the past two or three years, yet who has never sat down to do a television interview."
Lauer gave his little "teasing" speech as the camera was panning over, eventually revealing that he was, indeed, in London and on an actual interview with Middleton. Middleton then said, "I hate to say it, but I was actually in America all of last week." The 30-year-old Middleton was referring to her completion of a 3,000-mile bike trip over 12 states, which she did for charity.
Lauer then replied, "She was riding in a bike even, and instead of me being able to interview her there, I had to fly 3,000 miles to interview you here." He then added jokingly, "What's up with that?"
Lauer did not delve into the topics that they talked about, but did provide a few hints about the gist of their conversation. He said, "We talked a lot in just the last hour about this great bike event she did across America, money she raised for two really great charities and we are also going to hear about what is like to be Pippa Middleton. These have been extraordinary two or three years for Pippa and she talks about that a lot."
Middleton first made the headlines of nearly every newspaper and tabloid due to her derriere at the Royal wedding back in April of 2011. She was the maid of honor to the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, wearing a relatively tight white gown that was designed by Alexander McQueen. This gown attracted a lot of attention since it was very body-hugging as she was not shy in showing off her natural curves during her big sister's happiest day.
This exclusive interview has been scheduled for public viewing on Monday episode of "Today", 30th of June and 1st of July.
