The Use of Drones Spreads as the Technology Advances

Drones are a technology that is slowly changing the way the world works. While most people might think of drones as terrible machines of destruction, they have a great many other uses. Among them gives travelers the ability to scope out prior to leaving their homes or acting as automated wait staff at certain hotels.

The technology for unmanned aerial flying has been bounding forward without stop. By advancing forward they have become useful for a number of different activities. One of the best uses for them is for taking pictures. Simply purchase a drone, prices starting around 300 dollar, learn to fly it, then let the picture taking commence. Taking the literal bird's eye view of your vacation destination can make some of the best photos. Want to show off the snowy mountain town you're staying in, or get a picture of the city lights all on from up high? All possible thanks to drone technology.

Something that isn't quiet accomplished by drones, but is influenced by them, is a part of the Maps app. The function is called City Tours and gives the user a 3d representation of whatever city they are looking up. The way it handles is almost like controlling an aerial drone as it flies over the city, getting close enough to buildings and streets that even minor details can be seen. While the addon has not been added to the app yet, one intelligent developer was able to sneak a peek into the programming and see how it worked.

Las Vegas has always been one of the top choices for people looking to party hard and ignore all responsibilities. There they can spend hundreds upon thousands of dollars in casinos, get free rooms, and buy expensive drinks. To help add to the novelty of it all, The Marquee put a video up on their Instagram several months ago of a drone bringing a bottle of champagne to a party. It is rumored to be available to be available after some 20,000 dollars had already been spent, but that was never confirmed by the hotel. While it is quite an experience to have some drinks delivered by drone during some dancing, I'd be afraid of the potential for disaster if the operate isn't paying attention.

As drones and their operating technology continue to advance their uses will also continue to grow. Deliveries will start showing up with the customary sound of whirling blades and people might get the chance to operate them as ways watch the world. Anything is possible and it's excicting to see what may happen.
