Annie Leibovitz apparently disappointed the newlywed couple, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian as she was not able to take the shot of their official wedding photo.
To become one of the world's most famous photographer means that the 64 year-old pro is simply the best. Annie Leibovitz is definitely an in-demand professional after she creates flawless photos of famous celebrities to become front covers of reputable magazines such as Vogue and Vanity Fair. This probably explains the reason why West recently expressed his disappointment that the photographer wasn't able to capture the most important picture and that is on his wedding.
After the rapper spent millions for his lavish wedding with Kim in Italy, the couple was actually set to spend their honeymoon; however, it was revealed that instead of trying to relax and savor the moment, the couple became exhausted. With an attempt to make their official wedding photo look perfect, the couple spent days just to make it look exceptional. There were issues with the color of the back draft and the likes of it that seemed to burden the couple of finding the appropriate picture.
Prior to the couple's wedding day, it was known that the rapper reached out to the famous photographer to be a part of their big day, but the arrangement between the two parties seemed to be unclear as Annie Leibovitz failed to take the most important shot. West's recent declaration is thought to be putting the blame of their exhaustion to the photographer.
The rapper recently labeled Annie Leibovitz who was actually known for shooting celebs such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Rihanna and even the family of Barack Obama in White House to be 'afraid of celebrity'. It is quite an insult for the pro since she already collaborated with numerous famous and powerful people.
In order to clear things up, a representative of Annie Leibovitz said that the photographer is 'not known to shoot weddings'. The rep also pointed out that she was never confirmed for the said event. The famous photographer has already worked with the couple when she shoots with them as they become Vogue's cover.
West also cleared the issue by saying that he wasn't blaming her and even expressed his respect and love for Annie. "He loves and respects Annie as a true artist and wanted to bring her eye for beauty to the imagery of the event," the statement said.
