George Clooney is about to change his career as he plans to become the governor of California after he ties the knot with Amal Alamuddin.
It seems like the actor is now preparing himself for a change of path after a story came out recently saying that he will now be venturing politics. Although the actor is a political activist himself, he is said to be digging more into the political arena as he is rumored to sit in one of the positions in the government. Leaked stories were saying that George Clooney will be running for a position of governor in California and if he succeeds, the possibility of him running for the presidency is also being expected.
According to other reports that previously surfaced, the actor's friends revealed that the Hollywood movie star is being wooed by President Barack Obama's Democrats to run for an office in 2018 elections. The actor is said to be in a good friendly relationship with the president as they labeled each other as "close friends"; thus, the possibility of the actor accepting the offer may not be that far. If George Clooney happens to agree with the launching of his political career, then he will be following the steps of another action movie icon Arnold Schwarzenegger who also became a governor of California from 2003-2011.
The actor's impending move for his career transition is rumored to happen after his September wedding with British human rights lawyer Alamuddin. It is also speculated that now that the actor has his lawyer fiancé by his side, it actually boosts his credential into a higher level. Reports saying that George Clooney will run for the position of governor does not just ends there since a more futuristic plan has been also laid saying that if he becomes more successful then he might as well run for president.
Now that the actor is being eyed for his potential and possible plans to run for a position in a government such as the governor, it is quite doubtful that the actor would even buy the idea since he already previously stated that he is not interested and declared that he could never run for a public office. If that is the case then people will just have to see his next move after his wedding.
