Kelly Clarkson is pregnant no more as she finally gives birth to her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock.
The "American Idol" legend together with her husband are said to be in high spirits as they officially become parents after several months of waiting. The couple who have known each other for so long before tying the knot last year welcomed their daughter on June 12. Baby River Rose is now joining the list of family members.
Kelly Clarkson's prayer to be pregnant has been finally answered. She previously revealed that she couldn't wait any longer and now wants to have lots of babies shortly after she was married to Blackstock. The 32 year-old singer even added that her eggs are no longer getting younger and opts for a natural way when she gives birth.
Two days after the singer delivered her baby, she announced that she's now officially a mom to a beautiful baby girl via her Twitter account. "Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th!" Clarkson tweeted on Saturday, June 14. "Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!! :)" she tweeted. Kelly Clarkson previously announced that she's pregnant way back in November just a month after her wedding.
In January, the singer revealed that she and her husband will be welcoming a baby girl which is actually her desire. Before the good news of the singer's delivery came out, Kelly Clarkson, who was pregnant at that time, was rumored to be alone because of her cheating husband while there were also rumors saying that she preferred to stick with his cheating husband for her child's sake. The rumors are seemingly untrue as the couple welcomed their new child together.
Baby River Rose is Kelly Clarkson's first child although she's already a mom of two before she got pregnant. She is actually a stepmom to Savannah and Seth from Blackstock's previous marriage. The singer even gushed of wanting more babies when she was interviewed in October.
"I want two kids. Two more, that is," the singer said in an interview with Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
