Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show was the first to show the very first trailer of "Dumb and Dumber" sequel, "Dumb and Dumber To", with famous comedians Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey leaping back into their idiot characters Harry Dunne and Lloyd Christmas.
The release date of this returning slapstick comedy is said to be on the 14th of November 2014, with a later date for the UK on the 19th of November of the same year.
The trailer shows the two characters seeing each other again after 20 years have passed, as Harry tracked down and found Lloyd at a mental hospital. Lloyd, on the other hand, was only pretending to be crazy for decades simply for the fun of the gag.
After settling back to their old ways, the duo later learns that Harry has a daughter, whom Lloyd, after seeing the girl's picture, seemed to have fallen in love with. The pair tries to track her down, and this is when viewers just cannot stop laughing.
Despite having done some more serious roles, Daniels starring in "The Newsroom" and Carry in "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", the original Dumb and Dumber are back with a vengeance, shouting, running, screaming, and even throwing themselves around the set.
The trailer shows a motel arson (of whose fault this was is yet to be revealed), the duo taking a pit stop right in the middle of the highway amidst all the cars racing past them, their reunion with their infamous dog van, and Lloyd blowing powdered dust from his palm after "seemingly" taking it out of an old lady's crotch.
The Farrelly brothers are still the directors of this comedy, and he featured a short cameo appearance from "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence.
During their guesting at Fallon's show, the duo, with Fallon himself, did a skit they entitled "Real People, Fake Arms", which had the audience double over in laughter.
