Southwest Airlines Offers Fall Flights As Low as $49 During 3-Day Sale

Looking for a cheap flight? Southwest Airlines has round trip flights for as low as $100 and one-way trips for $49 during its three-day sale for fall travel.

From now until Thursday, June 5, 2014, at 11:59 p.m, travelers can take advantage of special prices for Southwest Airlines and subsidiary AirTrain Airways. There are four special prices of $49, $99, $129, and $149 for one-way flights to select destinations in the fall. The special fares apply to certain nonstop flights Mondays-Thursdays beginning Aug. 25 through Dec. 17, 2014. There are blackout dates that include Sept. 1 and Nov. 21 through Dec. 2, 2014. Seats are limited for the select flights and some of the flights are operated by AirTrain Airways.

Some examples of the low far trips are $49 for a one-way nonstop flight between Chicago (Midway) and Memphis, $49 for a one-way nonstop flight between Baltimore/Washington (BWI) and Boston Logan, $99 for a one-way nonstop flight between San Diego and Seattle, $99 for a one-way nonstop flight between Austin and Denver, $129 for a one-way nonstop flight between Washington, D.C. (Reagan National) and Houston (Hobby) or $149 for a one-way nonstop flight between Atlanta and Los Angeles.

Certain flights are only available for certain dates. For instance, travel between DAL-BWI, DAL-DCA, DAL-DEN, DAL-LAS, DAL-LAX, DAL-MCO, and DAL-MDW is available from Oct. 13- Dec. 17, 2014. Travel from DAL-ATL, DAL-BNA, DAL-FLL, DAL-LGA, DAL-PHX, DAL-SAN, DAL-TPA, ATL-PUJ, CUN-MDW, MBJ-MDW, SAT-MEX, and SNA-MEX is available Nov. 3 through Dec. 17, 2014. Travel to Florida or Nevada is valid Sunday through Wednesday only and travel from Florida or Nevada is only valid Tuesdays through Friday. Travel between Nevada and Florida is valid on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only.
