Carl Froch did not just shock the audience by winning his fight against George Groves, but he also made a scene after asking his girlfriend to marry him.
After being a couple for years and having two kids with Rachael Cordingley, the boxer seemed to make it finally official by popping the big question. Members of his team pointed and looked amazed as he kneeled on one of his knees while proposing. Carl Froch's wedding proposal looked so real, but it was said to be not official.
The boxer and his team rejoice in front of the crowd with 80,000 people in Wembley after winning against Groves and retaining his IBF and WBA super-middleweight titles. His victory is not just savored by him alone because his longtime lover also joined him inside the ring after being proclaimed as the winner. When Cordingley rushed inside to congratulate him, it was then the time that he asked the sneaky question.
Everybody almost believed that it was indeed a real proposal after Carl Froch's girlfriend said yes to his question; however, it is not yet for real. After confusing the crowd, the boxer claimed that it's not official and that he just reminded Cordingley that he will marry her. "I did ask Rachael a sneaky question after the fight, but it's not official" he said.
Although Carl Froch spends more time in the ring, he said that he will be marrying his girlfriend one day. Their wedding day will be the most special moment of his life next to his current victory. He also added that he is going to propose to her but couldn't sort the ring out.
In addition to Carl Froch's unofficial proposal, he also said that he told his girlfriend how he loves her so much. The boxer and the model are already parents to their two children, Rocco and Natalia.
