Peter Dinklage is dead. At least that's what the Internet is saying. However Tyrion Lannister of "Game of Thrones" didn't die. He's just the victim of a Internet death hoax. Dinklage is just fine.
Rumors started swirling that Dinklage died in a car accident. Many shared a link on Facebook with a photo of Dinlage and the headline "Game of Thrones Actor Peter Dinklage Killed in car accident" by "googonline." However when you click on the link, it takes you to a fakeshare website that says "This is a prank. You Got Owned!"
Some immediately caught on to the fact that the news was false if they actually clicked on the link. Some examples of those tweets include:
"SOMEONE STARTED A HOAX THAT PETER DINKLAGE DIED IN A CAR ACCIDENT MY HEART UGH."
"@Peter_Dinklage Welcome to the Paul McCartney club dude cause people think you're dead"
Dinklage is too busy to be dead. He is going to be in a lot of new movies like "Taxi" and "Pixels" and "O'Lucky Day" which will all be out in 2015. Dinklage has played Tyron Lannister on Game of Thrones since 2011. He also starred in shows like Nip/Tuck, Threshold, I'm With Her and others.
This comes a day after the Internet tried to kill off "The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus. Internet trolls used the same exact prank that led to a FakeShare website saying they got pranked.
