A shocking shooting incident occurred at a Jewish museum on Saturday wherein three individuals were killed instantly.
Authorities are still looking for a suspect who suddenly started firing a gun and killing people in Brussels, Belgium. The victims of Saturday's attack included two Israeli tourists and a French citizen. The number of the victims of the shooting at the museum was eventually raised to four after the worker from the said establishment also died on Sunday after being in a critical condition in the hospital.
According to the video footage released by the authorities, the gunman was seen wearing a cap and a blue long-sleeved shirt who hastily moves through the hallway of the establishment and quickly unpacks his weapon that he carries in his bag. After he opens fire using a long gun, he quickly leaves the scene. The shooting incident in the Jewish museum is said to be planned since the shooter came alone and seems to be well-prepared.
As the surveillance video was released, the authorities are asking for help from the entire population to help them identify the suspect who is now the target of the nationwide manhunt. According to the statement released by the museum, the gunman started shooting at the tourist couple at the entry and eventually went on to the attendant. The tragic incident led the officials to issue an anti-terror measures and protection of Jewish sites.
Israeli's Prime Minister has condemned the attack and saying that it was the result of the anti- Israeli and anti-Semitic incitement. Meanwhile, according to the New York Daily News, the Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo said that Belgium stands united with the Jewish community of 40,000. As the investigation continues, Deputy Prosecutor Ine Van Wymersch said that all options are still open regarding the motive of the killing spree.
Also on late Saturday along with the shooting incident in the Jewish museum, another report came out saying that two Jewish men were also attacked as they left a synagogue in Paris.
