Hyatt, a global hotel company, has started to include properties from the boutique hotel group Mr & Mrs Smith in its booking options. This change allows guests to find and reserve these unique hotels through Hyatt's website and app.

The integration began on April 24, a year after Hyatt announced the acquisition of the London-based travel club for 53 million British pounds.

Hyatt Integrates Mr & Mrs Smith Hotels to Broaden Travel Offerings

Hyatt's addition of around 700 Mr & Mrs Smith hotels marks the first phase, with more properties expected to join in the future. These hotels are located in various attractive locations worldwide, including new destinations for Hyatt like Croatia, Fiji, and the British Virgin Islands.

During a virtual media briefing, Laurie Blair, Hyatt's Vice President of Global Marketing, mentioned that this move is part of their ongoing evaluation, although currently, Mr & Mrs Smith bookings do not earn commissions.

The partnership significantly expands Hyatt's reach by offering more diverse and luxurious travel options.

According to Travel Weekly, Mr & Mrs Smith has been known since 2003 for its carefully chosen and independently reviewed collection of around 1,500 hotels and villas.

However, not all properties will merge with Hyatt's offerings due to existing contracts with other brands or overlapping locations.

Marion Barrere, the Director of Curation for Mr & Mrs Smith, emphasized that the brand will maintain its high standards for selecting properties. Their focus is on more than luxury; they seek extraordinary locations, excellent service, and beautiful design, all combined with a special charm that makes each property unique.

This integration with Mr & Mrs Smith allows Hyatt to offer a wider range of high-quality, distinctive hotel experiences to its customers, enhancing their travel possibilities.
