Cathay Pacific's Latest Collaboration Brings Michelin-Starred French Cuisine Onboard

Cathay Pacific, a leading airline, is joining hands with the Michelin-starred French restaurant Louise. This partnership aims to provide a unique dining experience for passengers. The new menu, featuring 16 French classics, will be available on selected long-haul flights leaving from Hong Kong. This move is part of the airline's effort to make flying more enjoyable by offering high-quality meals.

Cathay Pacific Teams Up with Louise for a New French Dining Experience

Cathay Pacific has always aimed to make its inflight dining special. By working with top partners like Louise, they ensure passengers have a memorable meal up in the air. This collaboration follows a successful project with Duddell's, another restaurant under the same management as Louise. Vivian Lo from Cathay Pacific shared how the team's quality and passion led them to work with Louise. They aim to offer creative and high-standard food that also highlights Hong Kong's rich culinary scene.

According to Future Travel Experience, the menu by Louise promises to give traditional French dishes a new twist. Yenn Wong, CEO of JIA Group, which owns Louise, is excited to share their food with the world through Cathay Pacific. This partnership reflects the airline's dedication to culinary excellence and its commitment to showcasing the local food culture to its international passengers.

Cathay Pacific's decision to enhance its meal offerings with Louise's French cuisine is part of a broader goal. They want to make sure that every flight is not just a journey but a delightful experience. By introducing high-quality, innovative menus, Cathay Pacific aims to stand out and give its passengers something special to look forward to.

Adds Wellness Features for Travelers

Cathay Pacific is making flying healthier and more comfortable for its passengers. The airline is introducing new wellness options, including plant-based food, shower suites, and massage treatments. These services are available in their lounges and flights, aiming to give travelers a better start to their vacations.

At Hong Kong International Airport, Cathay Pacific's The Pier First-Class Lounge offers a unique experience. Guests are welcomed with a calming scent blend of jasmine, lavender, bamboo, and green tea. The lounge features private day suites, shower suites with natural limestone, and Aēsop toiletries for a relaxing spa experience. Additionally, there are massage treatments available to help guests unwind.

Cathay Pacific is also focusing on healthier food options. The Forbes reported that the airline has introduced a plant-based menu in premium economy and economy classes on certain long-haul flights. This menu is developed with Hong Kong-based vegetarian restaurant VEDA by Ovolo. It includes dishes like tofu kimchi bowls, aiming to offer more eco-friendly food choices to travelers.

Furthermore, Cathay Pacific is upgrading its in-flight comfort with new business class seats called the Aria Suite, featuring improved storage and privacy. The airline is also expanding its service to the U.S., with new flights from Hong Kong to Chicago and first-class service from New York starting on March 31, 2024. Cathay Pacific's initiatives demonstrate a commitment to enhancing wellness and comfort for all passengers.
