One of the global leaders in the hospitality industry, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts is still expanding their successful hotel empire. This year, they have a new addition to their chain of classy hotels: a ski resort in the French Alps.
It was announced last January 19 that Hyatt will open a ski resort sometime later the 2017-2018 winter season, making it the first Centric hotel in France. The resort is named Hyatt Centric La Rosière.
This is in relation to Hyatt's franchise agreement with La Rosière Gestion SARL. The proposed 71-room ski resort would be open seasonally every year from December - April and again on June - September and will be managed by Sophos Hotels.
The CEO of Sophos Hotels, Mr. Fernand Donnet, is ecstatic about their new partnership with Hyatt. "We are looking forward to working on our first project with Hyatt to help introduce the Centric Brand to Europe," he said.
"Hyatt Centric La Rosière will offer guests a unique experience, combining an unbeatable location with superb facilities, a combination that has made the Hyatt Centric brand such a success."
Hyatt first introduced its Centric band in 2015 and already has several successful hotels in its name operating across the globe. Their concept is to put their guests in the middle of the action, as all millennial travelers now prefer. In the soon-to-be-open ski resort in the French Alps, guests will be able to enjoy the exquisite atmosphere of the French Alps in the hotel's convenient location, with everything the guest needs-- from the ski slopes to a delicious restaurant, right in the heart of the resort.
In the statement made by Peter Norman, Senior Vice President, Acquisition and Development Europe, Africa, Middle East and South West Asia for Hyatt, he said: Hyatt Centric La Rosière is an extremely important and exciting development for the Hyatt Centric brand. The deal marks the expansion of the Hyatt Centric brand into a new continent, as well as our first ski resort in the region, which we regard as a remarkable milestone."
"We look forward to the growth of Hyatt Centric hotels in the region, meeting demand from popular resorts that will put guests right at the heart of the action."
