Creator of the famous Drudge Report, Matt Drudge, was spotted at an NBA finals game getting a bit cozy with Ann Coulter. A still shot broadcast by ABC showcased the two seated together during a matchup between NBA teams Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs. According to a Mediaite report, their picture together quickly became viral over the Internet.
Nick Greene, a writer from the Mental Floss, was among the first to notice the duo behind the net, just as Kawhi Leonard, a Spurs forward, shot some free throws. He posted the picture he found on Twitter and captioned it with, "Matt Drudge and Anne Coulter: Heat fans." Drudge was spotted pumping his fist in the air as Coulter is seen with huge smiles, all while a burly Heat fan with a luchador mask flails his arms around.
This might mean a big thing to a lot of people, considering that Drudge barely makes any public appearances, and at a highly watched NBA finals game, nonetheless.
Apart from her NBA experience with Drudge, Coulter's name also rings a bell today, especially for her recent comments about Dave Brat's recent win. She has been very vocal about her opinions, stating that Brat's recent victory over the Republican incumbent Eric Cantor was a good thing for the Republican Party.
She was on Fox News with Megyn Kelly as she verbalized her thoughts on the shocking election results. She told Kelly, "Amnesty loses big. The idea that this will hurt the Republicans in 2016 is insane." Coulter strongly believes that Cantor's loss was primarily because of his noticeable support of amnesty for 11 million illegal immigrants, otherwise referred to as "aliens."
Cantor reportedly spent more on his campaign as compared to Brat, with estimated expenses of $5 million vs. less than $150,000. Brat, a professor and economist, played up his rival's support of amnesty Coulter believes that this trick was Brat's key to winning.
